Faraday Discussion on Peptide-Membrane Interactions

Faraday Discussion on Peptide-Membrane Interactions

Faraday Discussions has been at the forefront of physical chemistry for well over 100 years. Papers are distributed to participants in advance and discussed at the meeting. Both the papers and the discussion are later published.

The meeting on Peptide-Membrane Interactions was held as a virtual meeting from September 8-10, 2021 with over 150 participants. The papers and discussion from the meeting have now been published in the December 2021 volume of Faraday Discussions.

The issues includes two articles from ASB members that were presented at the meeting including The impact of antibacterial peptides on bacterial lipid membranes depends on stage of growth by Leet et al. (presented by Prof Mibel Aguilar), and Order-disorder transitions of cytoplasmic N-termini in the mechanisms of P-type ATPases by Hossain et al. (presented by A/Prof Ron Clarke)
