Each year the Australian Synchotron organises the Australasian Soft Matter Scattering Workshop. The primary focus is to introduce researchers to a range of scattering techniques, with emphasis on their application to research to soft matter from experienced researchers in the Australasian soft matter scattering community. The workshop is an ideal introduction into the techniques and also a means for assistance to get access to facilities. Generally there is some support for students to attend. The workshop is suitable for experience researchers, ECRs and post-docs and PhD/Honours students.
