The
meeting was held at the Esplanade Hotel, Fremantle and followed
ComBio 2004, the combined conferences
of the Australian Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, the
Australian Society of Plant Physiologists and the Australian and New Zealand
Society for Cell and Developmental Biology at the Burswood Resort in Perth.
Thursday 30th September was joint ComBio 2004/ASB 2004 day.
The
ASB Social Dinner was held on Friday 1st October at the Mussel
Bar Restaurant in Fremantle.
Scientific Program
Session topics included:
Mechanosensitive
channels, Molecular interactions, Biological spectroscopy, Ion channels and
disease, Molecular structure and drug design, and other related subjects on Molecular
Structure and Interactions in Biology.
